Compassion

So,
   we've conquered two centuries
   with this Liberty
                    our banner.
What from here?

We front-right-hand pocket
     (next to lighter keys and change)
this Freedom;
             these Rights
                         form
   flagpole and banner unfurled.

Let's gather together
     atheists,
     anarchists,
     bohemians,
     conart hustlers
          andthe shock'd-n-offended
around fire (bon apetite)
     consuming literature and banners
          and raise uproar to rise with
               smoke, heat and energy
          self-righteous
                        as granted by Liberty
        :Our voice - our question:

      "What gives you the right?"

After two conquered centuries
                             and more,
     our voice yields rhetoric:

     We battled time
                    tribes
                          and history
     for Right to ask such rhetorical
                                     mouthwash.

What gives you the motive?
